1 or 2 packages of chicken wingettes (I used one which gave me 12) For the marinade:
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 soy sauce
2 cloves of garlic minced
For the flour dredge:
2/3 cup of flour if using 2 packages of wings otherwise use 1/2 cup
1-2 tsp parika
1-2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
4 tbsp butter melted
Place chicken in a large zip loc bag. In a small bowl combine wine, soy sauce and garlic. Pour over chicken. Marinate at least 3 hours. Take wings out and pat dry, discard marinade. In another zip loc bag combine the flour, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder and salt. Close bag and shake to mix. Add chicken, close bag and shake to coat chicken. take a baking sheet and pour melted butter all over the pan coat each piece of chicken with the butter. Place in a pre-heated 425 degree oven for 45 minutes. after 30 minutes turn chicken. then bake an additional 15 minutes turning chicken again after 10 minutes.
These were the best wings I have had in a long time. They were crispy and juicy and had alot of flavor. if you want to add an extra kick you could add hot sauce to the butter or add cayenne to the flour dredge.
Thanks. I always like to mix and match recipes. This dish is actually 2 different recipes rolled into one recipe. My husband said this is on the make again list. You could dip these in blue cheese dressing but honestly they did not even need it.
Wonder if they would turn out if I use Pam or similar to spray on then instead of melted butter. I have to watch fat grams. I have sprayed chicken pieces before which I dredged in flour mixed with mashed potato flakes and spices and they turned out like fried chicken.

Then I would use real olive oil in one of those misters. Spray the pan then the chicken. You could try it but not sure how it would come out. Pam is garbage and full of propellents, I am on WW and they say use olive oil in one of those misters and too avoid pam. I only ate one wing because they were fattening.
Just checked back in to print out the recipe. Going to try them tomorrow!!
.
I use potato flakes and panko crumbs quite often on fried foods. I bet that would work on this chicken as well! I love goofing around with recipes as well (not always successfully). Live and learn!

this time try it with the flour and see how you like it.
I hope they turn out good for you. My husband could not get enough of them.
