My Fall from Grace

I have cooked the last couple of days so I don't have to cook for a few days forward. I made 2 pots of chilli but gave one pot to the neighbor, then I made pasta using elbows and tomorrow or the next day I will mix what is leftover from the two and have chilli mac.........yummy. Throw in a simple salad and garlic toast and we are good for lunch and supper through at least Wednesday.

That's smart cooking! Cook once, eat multiple times. When someone asks me "What is your favorite food?" I always say, "left-overs." And don't you think some foods taste better the next day after their flavors develop fully?

CSD610: I'm set for the next few days also! Love giving the neighbor the chili -- I so enjoy doing that. My neighbor and I have shared the last two weekends.
