Link has video. The 1/2 flour, 1/2 cornstarch really makes it crispy. It's an extremely popular food in Japan.

How ironic! Just two days ago, I was in our local Asian grocery store to buy stuff to make this (as well as Char Sui).
But I'll be using potato starch instead of corn starch, as shown in this recipe for Karaage. (sweet potato starch, to be specific.)
