Do you like the Butterfinger candy bars? Well we whipped some reasonable facsimiles a few weeks ago and were AWESOME.

First thing first: do you have a box of tissues nearby 'cause you're going to cry when you see how simple this is. You ready? Sure? ok.

Mix a bag of candy corn and a jar of peanut butter, and cover it in chocolate. That's it!

Wait, what? Yeah, let me give you the details:

Take a bag of candy corn (1lbs) and dump it in a bowl. Microwave it until it's melted.

Stir in a jar of peanut butter. Stir, stir, stir!

Pour it into a pan and let cool. Cut it into bars and pour melted chocolate over it.

That's really all there is too it. You don't even have to turn on the oven or stove. They come out looking and tasting quite similar.

OK, but where do you get that waxy chocolate composite they use on Butterfingers?

Thanks, IT! Will be great for holidays.......plus we hate candy corn and we have some on hand.
