I am trying to add healthy - steamed veggies to my diet at dinner time - can someone who knows tell me which steamed veggies would go with balsemic (sp) vinegar as a topping? The only greens I currently like are Kale with the vinegar.
Green beans with mustard are good as well.
Need to add more healthy stuff without drowning them in a salty or creamy sauce to make them "tasty"
Thanks in advance

That's a personal preference - some like their asparagus crispy and some like them more on the well-done side. Also, the size of the asparagus spears determines cooking time. Try five minutes and adjust from there for your own personal preference. I cook mine about ten minutes but I like them more on the well-done side.

grilled zucchini and eggplant go well with balsamic vinegar. I take fresh green beans and steam them until tender, slice a sweet onion and add grape tomatoes, top with balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Can be served room tepmperature or cold.
