I love it with curry powder, grapes, mayo, and finely shredded cheddar.

Oh me too....love that version.

To me c salad needs just a bit of sweet....like using grapes.

I've added blanched asparagus (still has some crunch), shallots and fresh dill to the usual salt, pepper and mayo. It's a nice springtime change.

I don't care for celery so I use chopped radishes for a little crunch and flavor, plus they look nice too. If I have sour cream around, I use a little of that along with mayo, minced onion, salt, pepper, garlic power.

Waldorf chicken salad - i've seen it with dried cranberries instead of grapes. Apples are key.
