Wife's birthday is coming up and I want to either make her the best chocolate cake possible or order the best "mail order" cake. Need some suggestions. Any really good recipes out there or can anyone recommend a company that makes a chocolate cake you would consider "unforgettable"? Not concerned about cost.

Wacky cake. Seriously, the best chocolate cake ever. And yes, it has vinegar in it.

Trust me.

I used to love this cake called Sander's Bumpy cake. I am from MI and Sander's is from there but you can order it I think online. It is a chocolate cake but has butter cream bumps under the chocolate frosting.

I don't see anywhere that sells them, but my favorite chocolate cake (not a big cake fan, I must admit) is from a local restaurant, Jakes' Chocolate Truffle Cake. It's a dense, more brownie-like cake. I don't find that they sell them online, but here's someone's recipe.
