1 pound bulk pork sausage
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups milk (2% or whole)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Hot biscuits, for serving
I cut it down. What I did was brown/fry the 3 sausage patties, from that 1 lb of pork in the plastic wrapper. Yeah, it says 6 servings, but I'm looking for a meal here, not a snack. So those 3 portions pattied up, mighty fine. I fried 'til brown, then de-glazed the pan. Crumbled up two patties into it, added 3 tablespoons of flour and 1 and 1/3 cup milk. It was good. Was a bit thick, though. Added another 1/4 cup of milk, mixed that in on the heat - and it was heaven.
Heaven on a biscuit.
