BBQ sauce, steak sauce, and Tabasco with grated parmesan and a bit of parsley or cilantro?

I just add a heaping teaspoon of cinnamon and a quarter teaspoon of salt. It's good.

I cook mine in orange juice and add a pinch of dried berries -- cran- or blueberries, usually.

I'm in the same boat! Just bought a bag of steel-cut oats but don't know how to dress them up. Will be following your progress with interest! Cheese?

I love oatmeal and it's versatility. There are tons of ways to change it up so I will just give one of my all time favorites.

My super duper healthful protein powered oatmeal is:
I mix in a bowl the following;
oatmeal
flax seeds (or chia seeds)
whey or vegan protein powder (I like vanilla but you can use chocolate or plain flavored)
walnuts
skim milk
And whatever sweetener you prefer (I use monk fruit or stevia but you can use sugar or honey also)

I don't use any specific measurements on the ingredients and I also like my oatmeal more on the soupy side so I adjust the milk accordingly to get the consistency I want.

Pop it in the microwave until done and voila. Super healthy.

Cook in milk
sugar: either brown or white, or a combination
salted butter
cinnamon
nutmeg
raisins
vanilla

I cook the oats with extra liquid for a long time on a low fire so that they can get really soft.
