This one hundred times over. Maybe pepper too. But yes there is something about the simplicity. Also I am fully in the white bread field. This is the only sandwich I would require it to be made with.

This probably doesn't count, but I eat them on toasted white bread, with mayo and bacon.

Wheat bread, Hellman's mayo, peanut butter*, thick sliced tomatoes, and a sprinkle of salt.

I like them without the PB, too.
