For those who drink loose leaf chai, I am sure that strainers are sometimes used, but I was curious can a mesh ball be used to make chai especially when using milk? If so, how can this be done? I have googled it but haven't found anything, but I have learned that just because it isn't on Google doesn't mean it hasn't been done. Thanks in advance!
I am confused by your post. You put the tea in the mesh, pour the hot water one it. Let it steep for as long as you like, covering with a saucer or plate to keep the heat in and then remove the mesh and add milk. What am I missing?

Well, a lot of the loose teas I buy provide a mesh bag. You could certainly use a mesh ball. I prefer steeping in a single serving pot and then straining through a fine mesh strainer.

I did over the past couple of days and it was delicious.
