A little chili powder & a shot of Worcestershire sauce & mix it in. Taste before & after the Worcestershire sauce. If needed add a 2nd shot, but no more. Also add a small can of diced tomatoes.
Chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, SALT, red pepper or hot sauce or salsa. Mexican oregano if you have it and a little regular if you don't. Little spritz of lime juice if you want.

It cries for chili powder, fresh garlic and some canned chipotle. If you don't like too much spice just add the liquid versus the some of the pepper itself.
I see most of the responses calling for chili powder. If that's not the direction you're looking for I have two simple suggestions for zipping this up. Try adding Adobo seasoning or jarred sofrito, or both.
Add to that, 1/4C each of oregano, basil & thyme... 1/2tsp poultry seasoning, a pinch of red pepper flakes, can of tomato paste & can of water (unless you use the salsa listed above), splash of red wine vinegar & a pinch of sugar (to counter sour) & add small jar of mushroom caps at the end (so it's not all permeated with the flavor while cooking). A tsp of green relish is nice at times, too as are sweet, roasted red peppers (from the jar).
I change things each time, based on what I want to taste. More sweet? Add more basil, less oregano or use red pepper rather than green. More mild? Use a blend of fresh cheeses, less garlic/pepper/cumin. More meaty? Sliced, cooked sweet or hot IT sausage.
My sister uses very finely diced cauliflower and/or artichokes... they don't have much flavor, the kids don't spot them & pick them out & it's virtually flavorless. I sometimes use pre-fried, finely diced zucchini or eggplant, so I get all my vitamins in 1 dish.
Bon apetite.
