Would love to find boxed mix for quick falafel....any US brands that are good? No middle eastern markets here...of course homemade is best.

Never made it but I love it! 2 Greek places by me make it really good. Now on another spectrum this Italian place in Brooklyn, NY make a fried chick pea patty as well but it's not seasoned like falafel.
Panelle

Panelle are Sicilian fritters made from chickpea flour and other ingredients. They are a popular street food in Palermo and are often eaten between slices of bread or on a roll, like a sandwich.
