Chicken breast update:

OMG!

OMG, OMG, OMG!

Sooooo good. Perfectly cooked, perfectly juicy, just perfectly perfect.

I had some leftover "roasted" (air-fried) potato halves so I threw them in the basket for the last 6 or 7 minutes. They got super-crispy delicious. Heavenly.

I LOVE THIS AIR FRYER!

Thank you, everyone, for telling me your good stories.

We bought 10lbs of sweet potatoes on sale today just to make SP fries out of. Just a light coat of EVOO and in they go.

This thread cost me $50. It was hard to resist with all the BF sales. I wanted to buy the biggest and cheapest air fryer I could find. This one came pretty close. I am familiar with the brand because it's the same as my current air fryer. It's also the same size, 7q claimed.

Some of the convection/toaster ovens call themselves "air fryers" as well. But I've read that convection is not the same as air fryer. Is it possible to get one that does both? I'd love to replace my B&D toaster oven.

To me, the appeals of the air fryer are easy cleaning, fast cooking, and they are cheap. Fast cooking because it's round and small. The hot air just moves around in a little circle. Cleaning for me mostly consists of wiping it off with a paper tower. It's a one trick pony that does its job well. Although I have baked bread in mine dozens of times.

One other thing if this concerns anybody, the Teflon coating will flake off eventually. I now use stainless steel grill rack in my air fryer.

That's why I asked about the Emeril 360. They advertise doing both and some other functions, but it's not cheap.

We had two air fryers and use them a lot. Now we got two new ones... an Instant pot and this thing.

Still getting used to them.

the teflon finish is the one thing I do not like about them, but advantage you did not mention, to me anyway is low fat as well as all you have listed. BTW they are not all round anymore. The newer ones or ones like mine actually have racks in them. The ones you are talking about are like my original one

The one I have now is pretty much like the Emeril 360. I was about to buy one when I got mine free. Let's just say, it isn't as easy to use as the inframercial would like you to think
