I get frozen pre cooked turkey sausage, From freezer to microwave, 2 patties are ready in two minutes. If you put them in the microwave before you head to the shower, they will be ready to eat when you get back to the kitchen.

You could also make a veggie fritatta, on your day off, & have a slice each morning, or make it in muffin tim, so one egg muffin in the morning. I like my fritattas to be loaded with spinach &n some cheese, but you can add whatever you like or need.

Doesn't have to be. A slice of pizza with a thin crust, small amount of cheese, low-sodium meat, and lots of veggies, isn't any worse than other options.

Greek yogurt.

Starbucks has a few healthy and delicious options: their spinach, feta, egg white wrap is pretty good as well as the egg whites and red pepper sous vide "egg bites".

This sounds decent. Do the eggs actually do OK when warmed up?

And keep in mind that oatmeal can be savory--you can make it with garlic, hot sauce, cheese, veggies, etc.

Yeah, but if he's eating Butterfingers for breakfast, pizza would be an improvement!

Bread, tomato, cheese--what's so bad about pizza?

You know, I haven't tried that but have thought about making it with veggie and cheese. As of now, I usually throw in peanut butter and blueberries (or peaches, as was the case last week). Sometimes I add nuts. I don't generally make it overly sweet, although I have--sometimes adding maple syrup.

"Looking for some ideas."

what works for me: i do not EAT anything for breakfast.
i do drink something: water, orange juice, etc.

what i have found is: if i do not EAT, i do not get hungry until 1PM.
if i eat anything at all, i am hungry by 11AM.

what this amounts to is: i only eat twice a day,
because i am only hungry twice a day.

i must give credit to my sister, because she started this
and told me about it, and it works enough of the time.

I'm not too proud to steal an idea from someone and quaker used to have a lemon ricotta oatmeal and an apple cheddar rosemary oatmeal, both of which are pretty tasty flavor combinations.

There's a breakfast place here that does an oatmeal bowl with sauteed onions, peppers, and mushrooms topped with an over easy egg and cheese. It's so good.
