I bought frozen shrimp and hash browns last month. I usually fry them and eat them, but I started hating oil so much for no reason.

Do you have easy cooking ideas to use them?

Thanks

It's easy enough to put shrimp in some type of sauce and cook them that way. I make a spicy, slightly sweet, sauce with soy sauce, some crushed red pepper, a bit of water, garlic and honey. Sometimes I marinate them for shrimp tacos and toss them on the grill for a few minutes. 100's of ways to cook shrimp without oil assuming they are not breaded.

Depending on the type of hash browns, you could just use cooking spray if butter isn't an option.

You could also steam the shrimp. But the airfryer will work well for both items. The hasbrowns probably have enough oil in them already.

You could steam the shrimp. Probably could cook the frozen hash brown in the oven. See what the cooking directions on the package say.

Yeah, I was going to say - the processed hashbrowns are ALREADY loaded with oil.

Buying hashbrowns is an odd way to avoid oil.

Thaw the frozen shrimp and make shrimp burgers. You use the hash browns as the breading. Any crab cake recipe can be used a guide.

These cook up fine in frying pan using cooking spray, butter , or a touch of oil.

You can always air fry them.

Perfect, even if the shrimp are breaded.
