that is not too hard and uses canned pumpkin pie mix, as opposed to the unflavored canned pumpkin that I usually buy? I bought the pumpkin pie filling by accident, but you can't return it.
I have pre-baked graham cracker crusts on hand.

Thanks!

My pumpkin cheesecake recipe uses plain pumpkin and quite honestly, it isn't all that wonderful.

You should be able to use the pie filling. You could always just dump it into a pie shell and bake it into a pumpkin pie, following the recipe on the can..

To make a cheese cake out of it, whip up your cream cheese and add the pie filling. I don't know what is in canned pie filling, but whatever is in there, leave it out of your cheesecake recipe. If the pie filling contains sugar, leave out the sugar. If it contains spices leave out the spices. If it contains eggs, leave out the eggs,.

Beat it all together, pour it into the pie shell and bake it.

You can add darn near anything to a basic cheese cake recipe and it will turn out OK.

I googled canned pumpkin pie filing. it is spices, sugar, and pumpkin. So just use your regular pumpkin cheese cake recipe and don't add any more spices or sugar.
