Chicken and Lean Ground Beef has been on sale. I have tackled using my pressure canner for the first time. I made canned chicken and canned Bourbon chicken a few days ago. Last night I made canned meat sauce for pasta.

So far so good. I'm going out tomorrow for more canning jars and meat

I used this recipe:
Utah Preppers » Discussion Board Archive » Canning (bottling) Chicken » Utah Preppers

and also this one:
Creative Canning: Bourbon Chicken

The chicken comes out kind of mushy but will be fine in salads and mixed meals.

The meat sauce is much better, IMO.

I may try carrots and potatoes next week

What do you Cann?

I do most of what you have, plus I also can meats, stews, bacon and plenty of vegetable medleys. I use both water bath canners and pressure canners.
