So not to fret we simply spooned the pudding on top of the pie filling base in the dessert bowl and then covered them both with a thick layer of low fat real whipped cream. I'm all comfy now. I'm good for at least 4 more hours of gaming now. Now next on the list will be the tomato experiment with bacon. Stay tuned.
Glad you had fairly good results! My family is hounding me about making a pie so I better get to digging to see what I "feel" like making huh?

who's baking pies for Christmas? I know most people make cookies..... I have decided Pillsbury is doing the crust and I am just doing the EZ way out for the pies..... not much of the baking type.... more of the choco/cream cheese type.... just to decide which one. But I think I was defeated by the dough on the previous attempts.........the Dough Boy is still my buddy for now......

Don't let that first experience make a sissy out of you and keep that power over you skbs! It becomes easier the more you do it I promise.

I will be making a couple of dutch apple pies to take along with our tray of goodies to some business folks. I will make pecan and peanut butter pies for our Christmas dinner as well. But you are correct the next couple of days will be cookie baking for sure here.

I'll be baking pies for Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner. Probably just chocolate mousse pie, apple pie, and peach cobbler.
