Spam Breakfast Burrritos.

Can't get enough of them at my house, we have turned many people into believers with this version of breakfast.

Slice spam and brown in skillet, drain
make hash browns while spam is cooking.....we are generous with the garlic
scramble 1 egg for each person eating
warm flour tortillas on cast iron skillet or over a flame

in center of tortilla place a line of hashbrown, 2 slices spam, scrambled egg and cheese if desired. hubby adds tobasco, son likes the less hot tapitio sauce and I prefer a chili garlic sauce but the rest of the family eats them plain.

Soooo good

I like to mash it up to make ham salad, you add mayo and relish to taste. It is really good. I either put it on bread or a hot dog roll.

Spam is great just sauted in a little butter and served with eggs for breakfast. Nothing wrong with it. I think I'll buy some for the weekend.

I think I need to buy a can to see if my memory or the taste of spam has changed. I tire of tuna quickly and spam would maybe just be the ticket to have on hand as a hurricane supply. That's a maybe. I still need proof. I will see about trying some of the suggestions post here and hope for the best.

Spam is a favorite of people living in Hawaii! I think I read that Hawaii consumes more Spam than any other state!

My daughter-in-law who is Vietnamese-American and grew up in Hawaii cubes it up and puts it into fried rice! I never would touch it until I ate her rice. Fabulous!
