Does anyone have any holiday recipes, whether it be for Christmas dinner or a New's Years Eve party? I am having a New's Years Eve party and want to make something different. Let me know your favorites, please.

Okay, I'll share one of my favorites..don't have the exact amount, but will vary depending on number of guests.

Crab Dip

Immitation Crab -1/2 to 1 lb finely chopped (buy in a bag which is usually 16 oz)
Cream Cheese- 16 oz or more
Roasted Red Peppers (can roast, but I use the jar of already roasted peppers)- 1 jar or a few of red peppers finely chopped and then roasted
Green Onion - a few bunches finely chopped

Mix all ingredients, then refrigerate for at least 1 hr.
Serve w/any cracker that you like, but I prefer Melba's toast snacks

Bacon wrapped anything is always a hit. You can serve a trio of bacon wrapped treats, such as shrimp, scallops, and water chestnuts. All cook for same amount of time under the broiler. (I use my Showtime, just set it, and forget it!) You can thread one of each on a skewer, so each guest gets a sample of each. Let us know what you end up serving!!

Every year, I try a new recipe for holiday goodies. The winner, for my family, this year has been something incredibly easy but also very tasty -- a bit 'rich'!

Graham Cracker Cookies

This is like eating toffee on a graham cracker, but you'd never know what the toffee sits upon -- just provides something to keep your fingers clean.

You'll need:

11 whole graham crackers, broken into squares
1 C granulated sugar
1 C butter (2 sticks)
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 C chopped nuts
6oz semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Break the graham crackers neatly into two halves, and line a 15x10x1 jelly roll pan with the crackers. Note: they will not fill the entire pan. Set aside.

In a saucepan, over medium heat, combine the sugar and the butter, stirring constantly until the butter melts. Bring to a boil, continuing to stir constantly, and boil for 2 minutes.

Remove from the heat. Stir-in cinnamon and nuts. Pour over the graham crackers, and spread with a spatula to cover the crackers completely. Bake in a 350-degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Mixture will be bubbly.

Sprinkle chips on top. After about 5 minutes, spread chocolate with a spatula. Let set, or put in refrigerator to cool completely.

Enjoy. Because these cookies are so rich, I actually then break them into half, which is a better portion, I think -- several bites instead of a huge square.

Default Buttermilk Fudge

Anyone have a recipe for a delicious white candy called buttermilk fudge? It has the same consistency as chocolate fudge.

I totally agree! I made Bacon wrapped jalapeno stuffed with cream cheese, baked 20 minutes at 375. This was from Pioneer Woman's website.

Also bacon wrapped little smokie sausage covered with brown sugar and baked for about 40minutes at 350. Always a hit.

My BIL's favorite hot dip; brown 1 pound of ground beef and 1 pound of sausage (I use Hot), drain fat, add a can of cream of mushroom soup and Velveeta (About 1/2 of the big size one) and cook until Velveeta melts. Add some jalapeno to taste. Keep warm in a small crock pot. It's better if you make it the day before and keep it in the fridge, heat up before your party.

I make a similar recipe using club crackers and minus chocolate. So good!
