Where can I find a tamale recipe without lard?
I've looked online one recipe link came up but the link no longer works.
Does anyone here have one to share?
This one is from the December 2007 issue of Cooking Light. It uses mostly beef broth with a couple of spoons of canola oil and one of butter. I've made them and they are tasty but I do spice up the filling a bit more with fresh chopped serrano peppers added to the filling mix.
