If you do not want to follow a receipe, get a Betty Crocker or Pillsbury cake mix and a can of the topping. If you have not made a cake before I don't suggest making a layer cake..Sometimes it comes out uneven. Use a sheet cake pan and spray it with bakers secret or pam . Follow the baking time, but test it with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, it is done..Good Luck!

Ok, well since I didn't have a mixer I had to mix it by hand. It is still sitting on my stove under some hand towels so I haven't put on the frosting yet. I'm sure it's going to be just fine though.

And no, I didn't burn it. lol
