If you had to guess what was in it........... what would it be?

Do you try to concoct your own "secret sauce" at home to immitate it?
Or just use Mustard, Ketchup or Mayo instead and let it be?

Just curious cause I'm craving one right now.......... Another few weeks and I can have the real deal

Found this on the internet:

1 c. mayonnaise
1 stalk celery, chopped very fine
1 sm. onion, chopped very fine
2-3 tbsp. ketchup
2 lg. hard boiled eggs, chopped

Mix all ingredients together. Yields approximately 2 cups. May add a small amount of chopped parsley if desired.

Basically it looks kind of like 1000 Island dressing to me........

Have fun at In and Out. Do you order off of their secret menu?

Sounds so good right now. I would think 1000 Island dressing would have a little more ketchup and it also has pickle relish.

Wow, wouldn't have guessed hard boiled eggs. I'm not a big fast food person but I do like their burgers, actually had one today (Animal Style)

Ohhhhhh, now I miss " In-N-Out" burger!! It's the only fast food joint I really do enjoy! Or rather "did" enjoy. I think the closest one to me now is about 2,000 miles away!

Wikipedia says that In-N-Out starts all the employees out at $10. per hour.
I don't know what's in the sauce but here is the recipe for our burger sauce.

Equal portions of ;

ketchup
Dijon mustard
mild red taco sauce
and just a little bit of fresh ground black pepper, kosher salt and a small splash of balsamic vinegar.

When making the burgers we mix a little A-1 sauce into the meat and grill those dads on a charcoal grill after putting some wet wood chips on the coals.

Rickers, your burger sauce sounds delish. Would never had thought of putting these ingredients together. Will definitely give it a try. Thanks

I wouldn't even try because I can just walk to In & Out lol! That said, I do know they pay their employees well. They had a sign out front for help wanted that they start at somewhere like $9.50 or $10 a while back and I was floored. Good for them-actually paying a decent starting wage without the government making them do it!
