24 cookies (with a # 40 cookie scoop)
1 (18 1/4 ounce) box devil's food cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
confectioners' sugar for rolling
Preheat oven to 350°.
Stir (by hand) dry cake mix, oil and eggs in a large bowl until dough forms.
Dust hands with confectioners' sugar and shape dough into 1" balls.
Roll balls in confectioners' sugar and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until center is JUST SET.
Remove from pans after a minute or so and cool on wire racks.

Ok, I changed this up and made cake mix Snickerdoodles
Yellow cake mix and added butter nut and rum flavoring, rolled in cinnamon sugar. (My guys said these were the best snickerdoodles I ever made!)

Nex I tried
Lemon Cake mix.. added a little more lemon flavoring and the zest of 1 lemon, rolled in powdered sugar.. These just VANISHED! They were awesome!

Next I tried..
Spice Cake Mix and rasins, didn't roll them in anything and these were my favorite. Taste like gingerbread cookies with rasins.

Next..
I make the chocolate ones again and just added walnuts and chocolate drops. Mmmmm! The walnuts and chocolate drops really kicked it up a knotch!

Next...
Red Velvet Cake mix and made sandwich style by adding marshmellow fulff in the middle.

Can't wait to try strawberry, orange, carrot cake and so on....
This sounds like a recipe to make when the grandkids come over
Thanks!

This one is one of my Captains favorites and when I first treid it, I really didn't think it would work.. 2 cups of flour and only 1 teaspoon of baking powder, but I guess the baking powder reacted to the pineapple juice and it worked.. It is GOOD!

Pineapple Paradise Cake with Coconut Cream Frosting Recipe
20 servings 35 min 10 min prep

1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple in juice, reserve 1/4 cup
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon coconut flavoring
For Coconut Cream Frosting
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon coconut flavoring
1 lb powdered sugar
1/2 cup shredded coconut
For cake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Using a slotted spoon, set aside 1/4 cup pineapple for frosting.
In mixing bowl, combine remaining pineapple and juice with flour, sugar, eggs, baking soda, vegetable oil and coconut flavoring.
Beat at medium speed 2 minutes.
Pour into greased and floured 10-1/2 x 15-1/2 x 1 inch baking pan.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Let cool completly.
To make frosting: Beat cream cheese, butter, sour cream, vanilla and coconut flavoring until smooth and creamy.
Add powdered sugar; beat until frosting is a spreadable consisency.
Stir in coconut and reserved 1/4 cup pineapple.
Use to frost cake.

2 C. raw elbow macaroni ~ Creamettes works best
2 C cooked chicken or turkey
2 C. broth or milk
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
½ lb velvetta cheese, cubed
3 hard boiled eggs, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Bread crumbs or crackers for topping

Mix all ingredients except crumbs together, put into 9 X 13 pan.

chilegal- My daughter gave me one just about like that and the guys tore it UP! That is a idea about adding the broccoli or peas to it, I'll give that a try. Thanks.

I am nothing special for sharing my recipes. I never have understood cooks that won't share them with others. I am constantly printing them out for the guys to take home, heck, I find most of them online anyway so they are already out there.
