Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made this last night and it was great! My husband said it was the best pizza he's had in a long time.

I made the dough and put the whole thing into a 12" round stoneware deep dish pan I have. I load it up with tons of veggies, cheese, etc.

I baked it at 475 degrees for 25 minutes since it was a thick pizza. I had increased the oven temp from the original recipe since I know pizzas are usually baked at a high temp.

I highly recommend this recipe. It was very simple. I let the dough mixture sit on the counter for 2 hours before I used it.

Thanks for the review on it. My DH and I are now off our diets so I can't wait to try this recipe.

younglisa7, we are actually on diets or a lifestyle change.

I made the pizza using low-fat mozzarella & low-fat provolone cheese (gives more flavor), sauteed onions, sauteed garlic, sauteed mushrooms (all in olive old), sliced tomatoes (drained. It was definitely a healthy pizza.

Thanks. I know it's a "lifestyle" change, lol. Diets have been getting me into trouble for over 30 years DH and I are at the maintaining stage of our eating lifestyle. I think I will try the pizza on Friday.

Just an update. I finally made this dough for my DH and I. I put it in a 9x12 pan which made the dough very thick. I baked it at 400 degrees for about 24 minutes. Next time I will pre cook the dough just a little before adding the toppings because our pizza came out just a little doughy.

Anyway it got rave reviews from my DH. He said it's the best homemade pizza he's ever had but he didn't like it as leftovers the next day, lol.

So all in all it was super easy and it did taste very good.

Thanks for this YL! I am going to try this! I usually just buy a loaf of french bread and top it with all the good stuff and pop it in the oven... I like the dough idea a little better

Thanks for the recipe Lisa, I look forward to trying it. I like a crisper crust so I think I will pre-bake as well. It sounds like this would also be good for italian bread to dip into marinara. Thanks!
