I'm new to using self-rising flour. I bought Martha White and made biscuits with it and also some other things. I find that what I make tastes a bit salty. I don't add salt but wondering if another brand wouldn't taste as salty.

I don't know, Barb, but I'm pretty sure salt is in every self-rising flour. The salt is a catalist to the ingredient which makes it rise, as I understand it. Best of luck.
try White Lilly, if its available to you. Makes great biscuits. That is all that I buy. I'v never noticed a salty taste in mine, and I get the self-rising.
