Hubby brought home a container of tomato bisque from the local gourmet shop. At $4.00/lb I think I need to make it at home. Only problem, I can't dtermine what makes the heat. Can't identify and of the spices to be truthful. It is very smooth and creamy going down and then about half way down one's throat the heat kicks in. Wow! I looked on the internet but didn't see anything that I thought would account for the heat. Anyone have a really kick*** recipe they'd be willing to share? Thanks.
