Recently at the KA show at MGM in Las Vegas, I had something known as the "Archer's Arrow" which was a mixed drink that tasted citrus-y yet very strong. I was not paying attention to which liquors/ingredients the bartender used, and now am kicking myself for it.
I googled it w/no success, so I'd like to see if there is anyone out there who knows of any good recipes I can try at home.
The only thing i remember clearly is that he finished it w/a few ounces of Coke...
Hmm, I bartended for quite a few years awhile back. Don't remember that one, but a good strong one that I used to make for customers a lot who wanted a strong tropical drink was a Goombay Smash
Equal parts Meyers Dark Rum, Bacardi light rum, and Malibu rum. Finish w/ orange juice and pineapple juice. Enjoy!
The only strong drink I recall being topped off with Coke is a Long Island, I'll try to find the one you're looking for tho.
