My girlfriend likes Sex in the City, a lot! But she doesn't confuse reality with the little ladies in the television. Jeez, how dumb can you be to try to live that lifestyle and then realize, when you're deep into debts, that it was all fiction? To think these women were grown adults is even sadder.

These women are the equivalent of LARPers or Trekkies.
Well, there are plenty of women who use terms like "the perfect guy" "mr. right" "dream relationship", all are thigns which do not exist. The guys I know have a lot more rational and realistic expectations when it comes to relationships and the opposite sex. I cannot tell you how many women think they can "have it all", meaning career, family, and take time off to raise kids but then not have the time off not held against them in career advancement...
