With divorce rates of 50%, you're just as likely to get divorced as you are to stay married. That, among other reasons (such as I like my freedom), is why I am never getting married. And since you probably won't stay with the same person, why have kids with them? Kids being expensive/a burden is enough of a reason for me to never have kids but the fact that I probably wouldn't even stay with the kids' mother furthers my decision not to have kids. Plus the world is overpopulated anyway.

If this is how you feel, do not to marry or impregnate a woman - simple. However, believe it or not there are many who still believe in the sacrament of marriage and the family unity.
These folks don't go into either with a negative mentality. If that were the case, no one would pursue any life goals for fear of failing.

The world's population is up to about 7 billion and counting, with not enough resources to take care of many existing people. The human race is in no danger of dying out because of population decline.

Very smart. Marriage is indentured servitude for men. When you're single you have the power. When you get married (in the U.S.), they have all the power. Why give your power away..
Divorces are actually slightly declining, although marriages are on the decline and being delayed to later in life as well. Main thing is men are just getting tired of being relegated to indentured servitude by family courts and are learning from their fathers, brothers, coworkers, and friends' mistakes.

People with that attitude (not that there is anything wrong with not getting married or having kids) usually dont bother getting married. Unfortunately, they often end up bringing kids into the world that they dont want to support. Do everyone a favor and get a vasectomy. Quick.

Marriage is no longer a sacrament. It's a contract between the man and woman and the government. Remove the government and a lot more people would consider it. Why would females need family unity in a socialist nation? They can get in, cash out and have uncle sam as a copayer, funding their independent womanhood.

I usually agree with you,. But there are more and more men who are saying no to marriage as it exists in western nations. I think females are running scared and are realizing that finding a good man to marry is less and less likely.

Good Lord. You are free, and I don't know any men that are not. If you are with a woman you don't want to be with, get the heck out. If you don't have a woman because you don't like us, don't get one. It is that easy. You and some of your CD buddies keep saying how horrible women are, how we mistreat you poor little men, and how all we want is your money. Well, stay away from women, and all your problems will be over. You can hoard your money, hang out together, not have children, and generally be the kind of person you want to be. You just need to quit gripping about the same thing on every single thread.
