Did this morning start out great or what?! I noticed last few days something wasn't right with my car key/alarm and it seemed to be locking the car when it was supposed to unlock it (had the feeling it wasn't locked sometimes) and this morning I threw my purse in the car, closed the door, the car got locked, and the alarm went off! Thankfully, the alarm stopped fast at least. Naturally, my cell phone was in the purse, too...
That's what ground lines are for! Glad to have kept it! It wouldn't have been particularly easy to find a phone this time in the morning unless I walked to the gas station and it's not that close.
What pisses me off the most is that I had a spare key and even knew where it is. Wasn't sure if the battery is OK and works, but that's not the point. Found the key, but the alarm thingie wasn't attached to it and I have absolutely no recollection when or why I removed it or where the hell it is!

Deja vu, but not as bad. Same thing happened to me in CA more than 10 years ago - loaded the car, checked out of the hotel, threw the purse in the car (rental), closed the door and it got locked! Didn't have a quarter in my pockets!

Yeah, I got a promotion and a raise. My boss just gave me my paper review and it's the best score I've ever gotten
