It is possible that women enjoys sex but not even nearly as much as men.
I certainly don't view it as a favor, but it is a gift people give to eachother, even if one of the two prefers it more often. Eh, who doesn't like giving gifts any way?

My step dad comes to mind. He's in his 70s and he might as well be in his 30s. He's always harping on my mom and she's all done at her age. lol

I still don't bite. On average women do not have sex drives that are bigger or even the same as men. I'm fully aware that that social stigma prevents women from expressing too much interest in sex. I just said that myself about an hour ago..

Imagine if you could make your girlfriend think that having sex with her is a favor! Think of the possibilities lol
Reasons why i believe men have higher sex drives than women.
1) Headaches: Women have been known to use headaches as an excuse for getting out of sex. Sex would be soothing to men who have a headache
2) Fake Orgasms: Women sometimes fake orgasms to end sex. A man wont ever need to fake if because we always enjoy it.
3) Prostitution: Men are far more likely to pay for sex that women. Most prostitutes are women who cater to men. The others are men who cater to men. Only a scant few are men who sell to women.
4) Sex used to get ones way: Women have used sex to get their way. Men cannot do this.
5) Women like chocolate more than sex: I have seen other studies on this this is the only one I can find right now. The Raw Story | British women prefer chocolate to sex: poll (http://www.rawstory.com/news/afp/British_women_prefer_chocolate_to_s_06052007.html - broken link)
6) Animals: If you pay attention to the animal kingdom you'll see countless examples of aggressive male sexual behavior and females that arent in the mood and try to escape it. Like a rooster chasing hens who try to get away. Its less common for females to be the aggressive sex.
7) Qualities: Physical attraction doesn't play as big a part in a woman's attraction to a man compared to a mans attraction to a woman. Men are more focused on looks and such are more interested in sex. Women are more attracted to other qualities.
8) Testosterone: In both men and women testosterone has a significant impact on sexual desire and men have almost ten times as much testosterone as women do. Women that are put on testosterone therapy often report higher sexual urges.
9) Brains: The part of the brain that deals with sexual urges (The Hypothalamus) is twice as big in a mans brain than a womans.
10) Men will f*** anything (Generalization): Women do use toys but men have been known to have sex with sheep.
11) Statistics: Men watch porn more often that women watch porn, read romance novels, and read erotic literature put together. Men masturbate more often. Men masturbate at an earlier age. ect..
12) I'm just as pathetic: I got an erection at some point while I was typing this...

Can you see why I have this crazy idea? I'm not saying women have no sex drive at all I'm saying its less than that of most men. Seriously you can just look out your window or turn on a TV to see this.

I wonder if you're really talking about sex, tho. Frankly, your posts have the feel of getting off. Men might enjoy masterbating in a person more, but I wouldn't call that sex, not how I define it at least. I say this because I've known men that can/will screw a woman that he finds to be annoying. I've never met a woman that would have sex with a guy that is an annoying dolt. Again, that's masterbation with another person, and doesn't touch on the gravity of what sex is/can be. Big difference, imo. eta: if that makes any sense. Sorry if I'm not communicating my thoughts on this well enough.

It gotta be Foxy Little Boy! He says the same thing about "women not liking sex as much as men." I see he still didn't get the therapy we kept recommending him to get

Nope! Because women like sex.

You just refuse to accept that simple truth, and because of that your contributions to this conversation are hereby declared irrelevant.

Go sell crazy somewhere else, before I ask a mod to run your IP address through and see if you're violating TOS with multiple accounts, FoxMulder999.

So that's basically sex VS lovemaking? My previous post was off topic. I was only trying to explain my opinion on the difference in raw sexual desire in men vs women. Perhaps your a person who doesn't consider sex to be sex unless there's emotions involved? I'm just talking about the desire for sexual intercourse.
As for masturbation. Its usually done when people have sexual desires right? prepubescent children don't do it and people who are suffering from loss of desire don't do it.

The comment you made about knowing "men that will screw a woman he finds annoying" but "have never met a woman that would have sex with a guy that is an annoying dolt." That proves my point too.

Well, it's all a matter of opinion, but when I think of love making it's more romantic and soft. I'm just saying that sex can get very involved and it's far more than masterbation imo. Eh, maybe I'm differentiating good and bad sex.

I suppose a level of emotion has to be involved, which is why my first thought was to correlate your post with masturbation. Let me say, and sorry if this is too much, but if the goal is simply to get it over with, which is pump and dump, going it alone might be viewed as a better option for some. There's physiological desire to be clear and if option A. is awesome time with yourself vs option B. nastiness with some guy you can't stand, perhaps some just prefer the former. And sure, emotion is involved with that. Again, that doesn't discount desire, but perhaps turn-offs/ons, choices, etc.

If your point is that men have fewer turn-offs, ok, sure. But, to reiterate, just because a woman doesn't want to couple with you, or any other guy she might find unappealing, doesn't mean she isn't hot in the pants. I'm sure you have your standards, correct? You probably couldn't sleep with female family members. I see it as a similar idea, but a bit broader.

We have all of these brand new posters all of a sudden that are male and say the exact same things. What is up? Are they all the same person, or did they call all of their underage friends? Ugh. I refuse to respond to them anymore.
