Hasn't worked for me but that doesn't mean it can't work for someone else. Nor does it mean I wouldn't try it again. I am city, I like country. They usually are better people.
this is an excellent question
city girl who likes fashion, martini bars and brunch dating country boy who likes 4 wheelin through the mud and shooting squirrels?? Doesn't seem to be a good match does it?? LOL

I think this person ^ makes one good point on the topic- overall compatibility.
Also- unless the person who adjusts is VERY 'adjustable,' he/she is going to be quite unhappy;
and- unless one person is very adjustable, it's not about compromise it's about sacrifice, and the person doing the sacrificing may start to resent it.
prob not for me cuz i hate the city and would never want to move there ever. the girl would have to move out of the city one day.
I grew up in the suburbs and spent a handful of years working or going to school in the city. Over time I have gravitated to a rural/exurban environment. I doubt I could make a relationship with a city woman work because at this point in my life I hate even visiting cities (or at least the northeastern U.S. cities) so I don't even bother trying to bond with city women.
I am not sure; however, there was a woman posting on here about being involved with a country guy and she is from the city. Maybe try and find one of her postings and ask her.
I am city. 100% city. Born and raised and plan on dying here in Los Angeles. Back in my single days, no way would I ever consider dating a "country girl". I pretty much dislike all things "country" and not only can I NOT relate to it, I find it off putting and just yucky. Oh, I'd bang a chick like Brandi from Joe Dirt in a minute, but I'd never be in a relationship with her.
It depends on the two people. Both of my marriages have been to country boys....and I am a full fledged city girl. I have been way more flexible in my willingness to live with them, wherever they were, then their willingness to live in a city.
I don't think that Country boys and city girls would make a good couple cause they are two different people who love different things.
