When a woman gets her number changed is it normally because of a guy? (boyfriend, women)

Just asking because my platonic friend is telling me she changed her cell number because it was time for a change. Is that BS? I mean what are some other reasons a woman would change her cell number?

Time for a change?! What's that - a hairstyle? Never heard of anybody changing phone numbers for no reason.
I'll throw out a couple reasons that come to mind.....
Change of phone carrier
Avoidance, not necessarily you.
A significant other who doesn't approve of "friends" if you get my meaning.

Well it's the same carrier because only the last 4 numbers are different.

Why would you change your cell number?
Telemarketers, spammers, stalkers, old friends, family and acquaintances you don't want to talk to anymore, you're in business for yourself and want a number that's easy for clients to remember, anything.
What difference does it make to you why she changed it? Why are you analyzing a simple thing like that?
The only thing you need to worry about is whether your friend declines to give the new number to you.
Not every action a woman takes is particular to women as a gender. Jaysus!
The only reason I can think of to change your phone number would be due to the fact that someone is calling you and you want it to stop. I don't have any statistics to back me up but I wouldn't be surprised if a large percentage of these changes were due to an aggressive ex-boyfriend or ex-husband. I've only known a couple of people off the top of my head who have had their number changed and that was the reason.
