A Severely Limiting Requirement (guy, singles, younger, divorced)

For every time I lowered my standards for anyone I also lowered my own satisfaction. Whats life without being satisfied? CRAP!
My list was:
- 6ft or over ( I bended this one only to deal with napoleon complex)
- Has a decent job ( I bended this one and was always paying, dumped him)
- not a virgin (ugh...I hate being a teacher)
- sexually healthy (never bended this one)
- monogamous or honest (never bended this one, never will)
- agnostic in spirit despite practice (never bended this one)
- not a racist (never bended this one nor would I want to. eww)
- no fatties - Which we both got fat and I changed myself right quick on that and I think we finally made it over the weight problem issue for him. Normally I would dump someone over that. Fighting over it was no freakin party. If I ever had to date again...I would not go for a fat guy. Its a 50/50 reason on it. I find myself repulsed by it (that surprised me actually) and it makes people cranky and tired. Thats no fun for anyone. I guess where I stand on it now is no perma-fatties that just give up and be a "fat guy". I don't want to find someone's bloated heart attack corpse at only 45. I really don't. Its a waste to throw your life away like that for food.
- not a porn lover (bended this one only to find a s-head who was always commenting on other women's bodies and was obsessed with sex. dumped him)
- not a drunk (never bending this one)
- not a druggie (never bending this one as I am older and think everyone should of grown out of experimentation phases)
- not a smoker (bended this one and started smoking myself but quit..YIKES)
- never cheated on s.o.
- no jail record
- no DUIs
- no bad teeth
- no bad hygiene
- no domestic violence
- does not expect me to pump out babies
- not divorced
- no kids
- no psycho ex
- no ex that they "are still really good friends" with
I would say without the bends and the over 30....yeh, small amount of the population is acceptable. But if I ever have to date again...not bending. Looking around at what 30 + has to offer men...LOL....I can have whatever I want, no problem.

theS5 - why are you always asking chicks for pictures. I think thats a little wacky. Double meaning intended. I don't post pictures of myself. I have had them stolen and used on profiles etc. Plus the wacky reason and I don't want the internet BS to affect my employment ever.
Just calling out internet fraud, thats all.

WTF are you even talking about? Nothing I listed in my requirements had anything to do with what you could get from a picture anyway other than fatness and hygiene. Trust me..I like to bathe and am not fat. LOL
I could look like supermodel in a photoshop job but have 8 kids, 50 lbs extra in hiding of digital editing, a raging case of the clap and track marks that you can't see in the photo. You can pretend thats what I am if you want to make yourself feel better.

Just because you taunt me so you can thicken a wack collection or whatever does not mean its going to stimulate a photographic post. You can believe whatever you want. In your posts you have a history of asking for pics for proof and your fear of flabby boobs.

As I'm getting older, I'm actually becoming less flexible with what I'm looking for. I equate it with preparing a meal; the more I make the meal, the better it gets. The more I date, the more I realize exactly what I'm looking for. Some dealbreakers:
1. Children
2. Super religious
3. Unable to grill - men should know how to grill. PERIOD.
4. Extreme left or right politcal views.
5. Lack of knowledge regarding current events (I equate this with ability to carry a conversation)
There are more, but I'd rather not invite the scorn.

As others have pointed out, that 'not divorced' requirement could be severely limiting. I'm in my 30s and rarely do I meet a woman in my age group who hasn't been married before. It's only an issue for me if they've been married a bunch of times and/or had really short marriage(s). One thing I always find amusing is when people say they want someone whose divorce was issue-less. A divorce with no issues? LOL.
By the way, did that last sentence in your post mean that the selection for men over 30 is bad?

Yes, not a lot of middle ground in the 30+ dating pool it seems like there was in the 20s. Now that I am older I can see why guys go for twenty somethings. Its not just looks. And the desirable ones are a smaller percentage in the 30+ set. Guys and girls.
