How is being single and never committing fun?

Maybe it's the how you talk or act. What we look for the most besides physical attractiveness is personality.

I also think that technology has made it worse. I've been looking at online dating sites for a while and am coming to the conclusion that while the concept is great, its allowed people to be like a kid in a candy store. This will push people to over evaluate what they offer and won't "settle". I almost get a feeling that a lot of people will never be happy from having such large access and will always be looking for the best thing.

Wanted to add to this:

I find my generation, Generation Y, and the younger set of the Generation X, is all about two things, instant gratification and thinking they're unique and special. Looking at the shows and music artists today, it's not hard to look at why.

I have a facebook account and love getting touch with friends, family (from all over and from past and present), but I find it highly annoying at the same thing.
