I definitely would not rule someone out for a physical flaw. I'm more concerned about the emotional ones

I had terrible Bells Palsy a few years ago that left me with nerve damage on the right side of my face. My smile is crooked and my eye is slightly droopy.

My husband barely even noticed my flaws, despite the fact that I have been and still am very self conscious about them. It's funny how people can be so attracted to someone that they gloss over the bad parts.

It's actually extremely rare for a person to have the fortunate genetics for a flawless face and body. Of course we see beautiful people all of the time if we go out in public but they only make up a small percentage of the population and as many of them grow older they'll often lose that beauty over a period of time.
There are certain flaws that I don't think I could overlook though such as having a forehead that was only one inch high, having a nose with nostrils that faced upwards instead of down, teeth that looked like Chicklets chewing gum with a half inch between each tooth, ears that are so large they could be used as a hang glider and a neck so fat that it looks like ten chins all stacked up in a row. It's not that I'm so good looking myself, I just don't want my significant other to look like a painting by Picasso.

First Love had a lazy eye. I hardly noticed it. And yes, I would date another imperfect person again if again ever free to do so.

The exterior carries some weight for me, but the content of the character matters more, and can quickly override the looks.

If prone to lying/dishonesty...Fuggetaboutit!
