I tend to like the educated type so I picked #1 but I'd put mechanics, electricians, plumbers and the like in category #1. They have a learned skill and tend to be successful.

You're entirely right about that, my sister the doctor married a plumber, and he makes more than she does!
I don't like the way the poles looking...grocery baggers and fast food with police officers, really? OP... do you realize a lot of police departments require a degree w/major in criminal justice?
This poll is ridiculous. I would rather marry a man than an occupation. What if the rich lawyer is a jerk and the poor brick mason is a loving, decent man? Of course, I would choose the brick mason. I don't judge a guy based on money or occupation. There is no correct answer on your poll.
You're not paying attention. I wrote, "assuming they're all good guys." There are bad and good apples in every profession. Stop trying to give brick layers a feel good advantage.
If in your question the two types of professions made equal amounts of money, I'd go with option 2. I would rather marry somebody with a skill I value (i.e. technical/mechanical/scientific or MD/JD skills) rather than "business" skills (which I personally don't value because it is highly subjective). But as it is, option #1 makes more sense because you already put the word "rich" into it, and financial stability is something that makes sense.
No you're not allowed to draw your own conclusions. The poll reads "wealthy businessmen" and that means somewhere in the 2+Million dollars a year income bracket. OK so you would rather marry a mechanic at Jiffy Lube than somebody like Bill Gates or Donald Trump. Not sure I buy that but I have read some strange stories online.

Bill Gates is a good guy, however Donald Trump is a jerk.
If they are all good guys as you have said in your poll. I would have to say the one that I'm attracted too, and treats me good.
