We see it a lot in the movies, but have you, or do you know anyone personally who has actually been left at the altar?

My brother's wife showed up over an hour late to the wedding. He thought he was left hanging at the altar.

Wayyyy back in 1989, I worked with someone who was jilted.

Fortunately, her caterers didn't charge her for the reception.

Extra fortunately, her anger let her see the man for what he was, and she got over it sooner rather than later. She didn't waste any time mooning or crying over him.

It was committing to the next guy that gave her trouble, and I could understand why.

Left someone at the altar? I always knew he was a stand-up guy.

Left her at the altar and flew home. He is about the weirdest person that has ever worn a Cardinals uniform...maybe Simeon Rice.
