woohoo starcraft 2 is out today. too bad i got work. tonight is time to be lazy and nerd it up
I took my youngest daughter to a hairstylist who she really connected with, someone who transformed her hair. She's 12 years old and not only has a new, confident attitude, but has a greater appreciation for her father after the stylist told her that few fathers care about their daughters hair. I also gave her a violin lesson. She loves the time I spend teaching her the instrument. This was a good day.
Yesterday evening, we went on a nice walk through Springbrook Prairie, a nearby forest preserve where I had never been. It was beautiful! All the grass and the flowers and the sunset ... what a view. I wish this site had pictures. I'll try to post some. I love Illinois.
Then we came home and my husband made homemade pizzas.
