Soooo, where's the cheating recipe?
On the back of the packet

I might try making it from scratch if I can find all the ingredients somewhere in the house.

I'm not much of a cheater, so I'll only do it once.

I *DID* find a great way to cheat on Hollandaise, though (which is considered the "parent" of Bearnaise)-- egg yolk, hot melted butter, and lemon juice... in the blender.

I love my husband's laugh. He's watching some movie that is cracking him up and every so often I can hear his chuckle and it makes me happy.

Beyond that I'm cooking us some lunch. A bit too much starch, but I have to use them up. I have baked potatoes going in the oven (brushed with olive oil and lightly salted), a tomato sauce with garlic, onion, quorn (veggie) chicken, parsley, oregano, hot pepper, and a bit of escarole. Pasta will be whole wheat. I'll put together a side salad of assorted greens with some bread as well. Yum!

Then why are you posting here?

My FWB was getting too close and clingly, so kicked her to the curb. No sooner that one ended, than today have another potential prospect. Funny both brunettes and look similar, though todays one a little taller and has a nicer face.

Ha-ha, is that the 19 y.o. "FWB" you were talking very recently, Dave? Yeah, we all knew that'd work out!
