Got a good haircut and nearly nailed a chicken dish today, first time cooking it! Sauce was slightly too strong in flavor.

If I asked my friend to teach me Japanese, I'm sure he'd kill me.

Not like literally kill me, he'd force to use the absolutely correct dialect of the language I'm speaking. Because he's a bit of a purist, and he has a degree in Japanese studies.
