What's with the sudden anti-cougar thing? Who here said they were a cougar? I believe the OP is a YOUNG MAN who has crushes on older women, but somehow now it's all... eh, nevermind. Ya damn kids will never understand.
Yeah, I've been having the hots for a few women who're between that age and one of them kept checking me out in class because she'd always look at me and smile.
Granted, I still talk to girls around my age, including an old flame whom I known most of my life, but the last one I thought I had a relationship with she blew our date, which I think I came here and asked advice for.
Still though, is it bad for me, 23, to check out women in that age range?
My old boyfriend is 26. I am 48. Appearance wise I look early 30's. When we first met, through my xbf of 8 years (also five years younger than me), I blew him off for a whole month. Finally, gave in. He chased me; I did not chase him. He was totally serious about having a relationship not just a roll in the hay. We were together for almost two years. He took me to every family event. I finally decided that while the relationship could definitely endure the test of time, he needs to go out & experience marriage & children (he would marry me in a NY minute but I'm not having any more babies). We will be close for the rest of our lives.
You just have to realize what you want out of a relationship with an older woman; it might just be fun at first but you must be prepared for the emotional aspect that comes from that relationship.
