I'm done with dating as well. It's TOO emotionally exhausting!

Sure, it happens. I knew a girl way back when who took a year off because a heavy situation like that, but most 18- to 22-year-olds don't have to.
That's the bittersweet part about getting older: Things that used to stress you out no longer do, but it's because you've had to deal with far worse. Gee, I'd LOVE to go back to the days when dating was the most stressful thing I coped with!

Well, I'm extremely blessed that I don't have to deal with serious issues such as those in my life. I was just merely expressing how I felt about taking a break from dating (given how my past relationships have been). No need to take my comment so seriously!
Wait till they turn 30 or got one or two strikes against them...you won't have to try hard anymore.....
