I do not think is all of them, and if you guys are not like that congrats! All I am saying is MOST men given the opportunity to have sex would.
And that a lot of those men do not think highly of women giveing themselves like that. I am a woman and I find it awful.
If you are not like that congrats. But just to give you an example in this same topic one person said "she is not good enough for a relationship but she is good enough for sex".
I am a believer men treat women the way women expect to be treated. It is human nature. People tend not to respect people who do not respect themselves.

I think most of the people here who think they are describing FWB are thinking of F buddies/booty calls. FWB absolutely has emotional involvement as you are friends by definition.
I think you're right. I've always considered f-buddies and FWB to be about the same thing, probably because of my only experience with it. I'm not sure which I was in, but the "friendship" we had was secondary to the physical relationship. When the physical aspect ended she continued to call and chat, but I discouraged it because my new s.o. (now wife) felt a little odd about it.

ITA. I would never get serious about a guy who had FWB or a f-buddy, because that shows me right there what kind of person he is--a man who disrespects women, finding some good enough to get off to, but not commit to. It's a matter of looking into his deep character.
I feel sorry for the women who get rooked into this kind of an arrangement and think treat it as though it makes them hip. It's not a huge leap from the drunken one-night stand, it's just a one-night stand over and over with the same person, sober. Amazing.
I mean, if you're going to have sex without strings attached with someone who finds you good for only one thing, at least charge for it, ladies. Or get a free dinner or a bill paid out of the deal at least. Think of the poor escorts and prostitutes who are suffering in this economy because you're rendering services that usually don't come for free outside of a relationship.
