A Caucasian guy compare to any other ethnicity is not even close to 'Dark' overall.

I've always thought of it as dark haired/facial hair. That wouldn't make any sense if it was only about dark men, not to me anyway. A Black, white, Indian, European, whatever guy can be Tall, Dark, & Handsome in my book.

Someone like Mechad Brooks or Michael Fassbender!

See, and this is what I mean. What qualifies as "dark" is very different among people. I'm black (brown in my eyes), and I would most likely never refer to an Italian with a tan as "dark." A tan on a white person does not make them "dark" to me. They're merely white with a slight tan.

A Black person that is African-American is nowhere near Brown.

Brown is Hispanic, Middle Eastern and South Asian descent.

Okay, so you now know my skin color...? Let me make this simple for you. The "brown" crayon is much more like my skin tone than the "black" crayon. Goodness. Hispanic comes in a variety of races. I've met numerous Middle Eastern people who are darker than me. Haha, "no where near Brown"...you kill me.

You aren't paying attention.

THAT^^. Right there. Read that. And stop asking such silly questions.

Actually, African-Americans are often brown to the tee. The epitome of brown. The definition of brown-skinned.

How? I thought it was either light or dark shade of Black?

They don't look anything like the Brown hispanics.

Why are African-Americans called Black then?
