Lots of on/off eye contact and wanting to be around the chick in question.

I don't mess around Blue, I walk right up to her and grab her by the hair and plant one right on the mouth...and I got the handprints on the left side of my face to prove it. After awhile you don't even feel the slaps or hear the screams.

On a more serious note, eye contact for starters. A warm smile, being playful or mildly flirty without corny pick up lines or obvious compliments.

Try to hide? Guys aren't nearly as subtle as they think they are. Most like to play it cool but it's blatantly obvious when they attracted to someone. I personally don't try to hide it. If I'm interested, I'll smile, make an effort to chat with her, etc. But I don't try to impress her. Some guys are really good at making a girl laugh. But if you're not, don't even try cause you'll just make a fool of yourself trying to be something you're not.
