It means he doesn't find a woman good enough looking to want to be with her in a romantic way. Something about that woman is not right physically....that's what it means when a man put a woman into the friend zone. He likes her personality....that's all.
I think lisalan is correct. Some in this thread have jumped to the conclusion that she must be fat or ugly in order for her to be friend zoned, but I don't think that's entirely accurate. She simply has to be "not his type," physically speaking. She possesses a feature(s) that just don't do it for him, or features that actually turn him off. She could be attractive, but she just doesn't have it physically as far as he is concerned. There's a difference between that and ugly.
i have a good female friend who is very hot. shes also kind of crazy. i like hanging with her every once in awhile but i can imagine being with her all the time in a relationship
Ummm, you usually "friend zone" a woman you have no chemistry with. Or they have a caustic personality, which happened in this case.
Chemistry with? Are you serious? You sound like a woman, I think I have chemistry with just about every woman I have met Even some unattractive ones, depending on how drunk you are, I think I make chemistry happen sometimes Never heard a guy using that term LOL

i can understand the ugly part but why be friends wiht a crazy person.
Well when I say crazy I mean not the personality traits I like such I was friends with a female for 9 years beause she was insecure, immature, and materialistic
Those are not 3 qualities I want in a girlfriend but a friend I don't care
I've been friends with women who wanted more than friendship, some of them I even found attractive. But for me there was just no spark. In some cases the nature of the friendship was so guy-like that sex between us would have been awkward and comical. We probably wouldn't have been able to keep a straight face or really get into it. So it's not always a sign that he doesn't find her attractive.

Really? I wouldn't want those qualities in a friend either.
