I love my dog. Anyone who knows me knows that is true. I will take my dog over any human, anyday. As dogwalker said, I took her on as my responsibility and I will own up to that until it is her time to go.

That said, I do not dress her up. I do not let her sit at the dinner table with me. I do not feed her people food. She does not sleep in the bed (she prefers to sleep in the living room).

Anyone who will turn over a pet because it suddenly becomes inconvenient for them has a black soul as far as I'm concerned. They have no sense of commitment or responsibility, and certainly no sense of loyalty - definitely low on the totem pole of being.

I confess to dressing my beagle up in a bumblebee costume for Halloween. Her name is Bea though. I had to do it. LOL

I repped her saying the same. Halloween is the one time where the dogs look better then the kids all dressed up.

We went to a costume contest last year which was won by a 3 legged dog dressed as a pirate. No kid could have pulled that off.

Perfect because I would avoid a person with your POV in any aspect of my life.

Hey, later in life, I'm planning to house an exotic pet. Owning a tiger's been a long term passion.

Agreed!

We lost the Petsmart costume contest. We were robbed. She was a BumbleBeagle.

If only I could dress my shepherd mix up as a garbage disposal. It would totally fit her. LOL

Yes! We should all walk around in our daily lives with our CD names on a nametag. That way if I should ever run into any of these people, I will know to RUN THE OTHER WAY!
